Take an Official Look at the Air Jordan 4 “White Oreo”

Official pics have emerged of the Air Jordan 4 ‘White Oreo’ in a GS size, which suggest the upcoming release will be one for all the family to enjoy. As the nickname suggests, this colourway is slightly milkier than most of the ‘Oreo’ schemes that you’ll see floating around, with the cookies and cream aesthetic arguably at its strongest around the midsole, where a speckled finish does its thing – most notably around the visible Air unit.

The Air Jordan 4 was originally released in 1989, with Tinker Hatfield taking the design language of Michael Jordan’s burgeoning signature line to a whole new level. While details like bold sculpted tooling, visible Air cushioning, and the unmistakable Jumpman remained from earlier iterations, the AJ4 added breathable mesh netting on the upper and tongue, as well as ‘wings’ and moulded additions to the eyestay that allowed for multiple lacing options. Boosted by yet another memorable Mars Blackmon–led ad campaign, and being on MJ’s feet when he hit ‘The Shot’, the Air Jordan 4 quickly became an icon.

The Air Jordan 4 ‘White Oreo’ is tipped to land in May this year, but we’ll give more specific release details to you once they come to hand.
