RHUDE Adds Streetwear Sensibility to PUMA’s Sport-Inspired Sneakers

Following the CELL Endura from earlier this year, PUMA and RHUDE have reunited for a far more expansive collaborative range. Encompassing four distinctive footwear models and a variety of clothing, the Fall/Winter 2019 collection is packed with distinctive revisions of PUMA’s signature silhouettes.

Kicking things off, the tall Basket ‘68 OG has been upgraded with touches of white leather, grey suede and metallic silver accents, bolstered by textural laces and punched-out RHUDE branding on the medial side. The CELL Alien offers another co-branded tongue tag, but opts for a more muted black mesh and leather, finished with “Green Menthol” CELL technology in ankle and a light beige midsole.

Like the Basket ‘68 OG, PUMA’s Alteration now sports touches of grey and silver atop a vintage-hued midsole, with the suede, leather and neoprene upper partially obscured by a removable heel-encircling suede overlay. Finally, the Palace Guard features similar grey touches, with its suede, leather and nylon upper upgraded with intentionally-haphazard stitching for a raw, unfinished feel. The four distinct silhouettes will be accompanied by several unisex clothing items, including coats, hoodies and track suits, designed to naturally complement the footwear offering.
