Nike ACG Debuts Fall 2020 “Mt.Fuji” Collection

With a scorching summer set to give way to a hot and wet fall, Nike ACG has readied its Fall 2020 collection. Dubbed “Mt. Fuji” and centered around a lava camo pattern that pays homage to the towering Japanese mountain’s volcanic terrain, the collection offers lightweight, weatherproof garments perfect for the transitional season. There’s also plenty of footwear as well, thanks to a new Air Nasu silhouette plus fresh takes on the Air Deschutz sandal and Moc 3.0.

Apparel consists of a packable poncho that’s wind and water-resistant, a versatile overall/short set, and camo-printed shorts. There’s also a special bucket hat plus a full lineup of yet-to-be-revealed seasonal staples like vests, shorts, fleece options and more. Each piece also boasts a woven label with a mountain graphic for a direct nod to the natural landscapes that inspire them.

Footwear offerings are lead by two colorways of the Air Nasu. Blending late ’90s-early ’00s and modern-day ACG styling, the Air Nasu boasts a fused rubberized mesh upper with reflective detailing that draws from the classic Air Humara, plus sharply-shaped midsoles and toothed outsoles that combine rubbers both hard and soft while furthering the traction patterns used on recent releases like the Zoom Terra Zaherra. The Nasu’s name is drawn from a town in Japan that’s known for its hiking and natural springs, and it’s set to arrive in a navy/black makeup with purple, brown and teal accents plus a simple black/grey style.

Meanwhile, the popular Air Deschutz sandal and versatile Moc 3.0 take on the same lava camo pattern as the apparel. Mountain graphics appear on the Deschutz’s heel and Moc 3.0’s tongue tab, and the former is finalized by a black midsole while the latter opts for a brown iteration that’s speckled with black.

The Nike ACG Fall 2020 “Mt. Fuji” collection will release on the Nike webstore come August 8. Retail prices have yet to be announced.
