Event Recap : Archive Launch the Reebok Zig Kinetica with Rap Star Nadia Nakai

South African premium sneaker store Archive Store opened their doors in Johannesburg and Cape Town to host a special launch party for the Reebok Zig Kinetica.

The innovative and advanced Zig Kinetics fuses innovative sport tech with sleek style to create a highly functional sneaker that seamlessly transitions from gym to street. ZigTech technology was first introduced back in 2010 with Reebok’s ZigPulse Silhouette, and has been continually evolving over the past decade. The launch of this innovative design also marks the next phase of Reebok’s “Sport the Unexpected” campaign and celebrates the bold risk takers who reshape culture by being anything but expected. the event was headlined by none other than local rap superstar and Reebok ambassador Nadia Nakai, who lit up proceedings with a live photo shoot.

Kicking off during the day, attendees were given the opportunity to become a Reebok Model for the day. Local South African designers  were on hand to put together a clothing range inspired by the Zig Kinetica sneakers.

By nightfall, the event had ramped up into party mode, with Nadia Nakai bringing the energy. The packed crowd was fuelled by free booze and nibbles all night – inevitably, it was going to be a big one!
