PUMA x Roland’s RS-0 and RS-100 Don’t Miss a Beat

PUMA and famed Japanese electronic musical instruments manufacturer Roland have dropped collaborative pack consisting of the revamped RS-0 and RS-100 silhouettes.

The pack follows the story of reinvention — ‘inspired by the past, shaped by the histories of both brands’. While the RS-0 is a complete reboot of the R-System, the RS-100 retains more of a retro look.

The RS-100 upper sees a vibrant orange suede Formstrip with white reflective edges join combination of white and red pebble leather, black ripstop nylon panels, and yellow suede. The RS-0 takes hints from the TR-808 drum machine that grew popular in the 1980s and was highly influential within hip-hop. The red, orange, and yellow accents on the black upper match the TR-808’s iconic trigger keys; the sole features text found on the instrument including the phrase “Rhythm Composer.”

Both the PUMA RS-0 and RS-100 Roland sneakers drop globally on August 8, internationally known as #808DAY. Be sure to hit PUMA Select and Shelflife stores.
