PUMA Have Done a Thing: The Hybrid Rocket Runner

Hey PUMA, what have you been up to? The Hybrid Rocket Runner, you say? Segmented soles are obviously all the rage these days, but what’s that it’s made from?

Evidently, somebody spilled a bucket of NRGY beads (the BASF product used to make adidas BOOST) into a vat of Ignite foam, so that’s where the hybrid part comes from. Add to this a sock-fit upper with an unusual lacing system and you’ve got yourself one heck of a reliable sneaker.

The PUMA Hybrid Rocket Runner will be available on July 12 from select PUMA stockists.

PUMA has produced a video shot in Cape Town and featuring local running crews to support the global launch of their innovative HYBRID Rocket running shoe and as part of their #24/7 campaign.
With 24/7 PUMA recognises that the cityscape can be the gym and track any time of any day. The run crew in the video perfectly expresses and represents the 24/7 mindset.
